Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients (Chicken)

  • 6 T extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into small cubes)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Ingredients (Glaze)

  • 9 T honey (or 6 T for less sweetness)
  • 9 T low-sodium soy sauce
  • 9 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 t red pepper flakes (optional)

Tools Needed

  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk
  • Large skillet
  • Tongs or spatula

Notes

  • Keep salt light since the soy sauce brings plenty of seasoning.
  • Reduce honey for a less sweet glaze or add more red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Chicken thighs work well too; adjust cook time as needed.
