Ground Pork, Sweet Pepper & Mushroom Stir Fry
This recipe was adapted from a ground pork stir fry by Snacking in Sneakers and modified based on ingredients available in my kitchen.
Ingredients (Main)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground pork
- 2 sweet peppers, sliced
- 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 2 shallots, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Ingredients (Optional)
- Green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Chili flakes
- Sesame seeds
To Serve
- Cooked white rice

Notes
- Adapted using ingredients available at home.
- Lemon was substituted for lime.
- Shallots were added for additional flavor.
- Smoked paprika makes an excellent Portuguese-inspired variation.
- Leftovers keep well for 2–3 days in the refrigerator.
