Chicken Alfredo Pasta with Broccoli
A simple weeknight chicken Alfredo pasta with broccoli folded into the same pot near the end.
Ingredients
- 7 chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
- 250 g pasta
- 300 to 350 g broccoli, cut into bite-size florets
- 4 garlic cloves, sliced
- 400 ml Alfredo sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Tools Needed
- Cutting board
- Sharp knife
- Large pot
- Colander
- Large pan or skillet
- Spatula or wooden spoon
- Measuring cup or kitchen scale
Instructions
Notes
- Add the broccoli near the end so it stays bright and does not get mushy.
- If the pan looks dry before adding the sauce, add a small splash of pasta water.
- Seven chicken thighs makes this chicken-heavy; use 300 to 350 g broccoli so the finished pan has slightly more broccoli than chicken by volume.
